Who I Coach
I help runners of all levels with any and all running and personal growth goals- from first time runners, to racing a 5k or half marathon, to discovering that edge to get yourself over the top into the Olympic Trials for the marathon.

Session Packages and Rates
Following the complimentary running date, I work in 13 session packages, which can be paid at once or in installments. A season, or 13 sessions, allows time for in depth and impactful coaching through the ups and downs of training. And if you want just one of the pieces I offer, like fixing up bunions or assuring yourself that your troublesome knee is a thing of a past, we can talk about custom packages as well.

Meet the Coach:
Coach Timur is a USATF Certified Coach, Certified Massage Therapist (CAMTC #78225), and a
Chi Arts Association tai chi and chi gong instructor
with a Masters in Counseling Psychology.
He was a sponsored athlete with Topspeed Running.
His running career includes a first place finish
at the 2011 US Half Marathon and second place in the
2012 LA Marathon Open Division.
Timur is also a Reposturing bodyworker with
additional certifications in training alignment and neurology.
He is currently becoming a
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

"Absolutely not what I expected. When I was asked by my friend if I wanted to hire a running coach I naively expected that I would be spending my time with Timur running. I found Timur while training for the San Francisco Marathon (my first) and his teachings were absolutely essential in my success during that race. He started out with a free "get to know you" session, and immediately I knew I'd found a trainer that could speak my language. Timur worked around my injuries and limited time frame before the race and created a plan that not only put me in shape for race pace, but allowed me to surpass my goal! When running it is so important to understand how to remain present and aware of how your body is functioning. Timur has a solid understanding of how to achieve this mental state and, through these techniques, shows you that there's an untapped source of joy within the sport.
It took a little time for the techniques Timur teaches to fall into place in my own running, but when it did I knew I'd invested my time (and money) wisely. Timur has a keen eye for detail and was able to pick out aspects of my mechanics I didn't realize were holding me back. He was very patient and focused on my needs during our sessions. Would highly recommend for anyone of all ages and skill-sets.
